President John F. Kennedy

"My fellow citizens of the United States, ask not what your country can do for you...but what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world, ask not what America will do for you...but what together we can do, for the brotherhood of man." (President John F. Kennedy/Inaugural Address)

There's more to us than meets the eye. The...very weakened eye.

What is a Republican? Is it a Politician who is dirty, cheap, unreliable, etc.? (So the Liberal Media says…) Or is it a hardworking American who is dedicated to their family, friends, jobs, and faith? If you ask me, I’d tell you that a Republican is that oddball in the crowd, who does not necessarily “go-with-the-flow”. I’d tell you that a Republican is someone who is proud of their country and their roots. It’s someone who prioritizes goals and objectives in life. A true Republican is someone who we ALL, Democrats, Liberals, Libertarians, Conservatives, etc. long to be…

Just the other day, I was in a heated debate with my Aunt. She is the quintessential Liberal.—I’ve always said that if we could somehow obtain a system of checks and balances (not just with the three branches of our government) but within each branch itself, things would “re-rail”. Regardless, Democrats and Republicans take turn governing each branch…therefore, isn’t the system of Checks and Balances really between the two parties that make up our country? Montesquieu would be proud!—as I was saying, my Aunt knows her Liberal facts…We we’re arguing about the Healthcare system and how it correlates with funding abortion. She always makes good points when we debate but, for some reason, it always seems like she misunderstands us Republicans and Conservatives.

I feel that the initial argument against Obamacare coincides with illegal immigration. What hardworking citizen of this country wants to pay Uncle Sam incredulous amounts then find out that that money is being used to pay for the insurance and healthcare of illegal immigrants and their children? Her argument: illegal immigrants cannot qualify for Obamacare. My next point I made is, why should the Hardworking men and women give equal opportunities to the non-hardworking men and women? There are very, very lazy people in this country who, if anything at all, do very little to support their family and themselves. They mainly rely on welfare and guess what…yes, you got it, the government. Well, now those lazy jerks who have done nothing to help anyone far and wide are getting the SAME healthcare benefits that those hardworking men and women get! The hardworking ones who go to work five, sometimes six or seven days a week. The hardworking ones who pay their bills and taxes. The hardworking ones who support a family. The hardworking ones who do their job. Her argument: those “lazy” people only make up a small fraction of those who are now benefitting from Obamacare.

She then went on to ask me, “Who are you to say who is deserving and undeserving in this country?” That statement there was much like a spark under my butt. When I look at my parents, my neighbors, my friends, my family, my parent’s friends, my friend’s parents, my fellow citizens who do everything in their power to provide for their family, and bust their butts for us and go through very tough times, and then see those who expect to be given everything…my blood pressure rises. I’m the one to tell who is undeserving in deserving THROUGH MY EYES because through those same eyes, I see so many struggling people making ends meet because they have others who rely on them for life and prosperity. I do not think that I have ever felt the same sensation I felt when she said that, EVER in my life before.
Section two was about how we as Republicans do not allow abortions or federal funding of abortions. Her argument: You cannot call yourself a Christian if you feel that way. Why should we bring those children into this world when you will not allow most of them to have a God given right…healthcare? My loudly-said response back: Who’s the Christian here? I want children to live and have the best opportunities that this country has to offer. Usually, those opportunities come with citizenship and hard work…when we see that that hardworking, deserving family who had that child who we did not allow to be aborted, we WILL reward you!

All in all, Republicans, Tea-Partiers, Conservatives, etc. are seen, today, as heartless criminals who only care for themselves and making the rich richer. It’s time to change that back to the way we were originally seen as. The view has changed, we have not. My closing statement: it takes a little research to find the truth in everything. God Bless America. Have a Merry Christmas to all!

The name we all know, Glenn Beck.

Christmas is just around the corner and I can’t wait! In relation to my previous post, airport security will be at a HIGH this holiday season. AGAIN, it is for your own good. I’m sure our President will be going on vacation for the hundredth time…if he isn’t already! My topic today is about a genius in political and social reform. He is a master of radio and TV talk shows! He is, Glenn Beck.

Born in 1964, Mr. Beck had not the easiest childhood (filled with alcohol, divorce, suicide, etc). However, he knew from a young age that radio was his calling. After a not much better adulthood, Beck was finally able to clean his life up. In 1999, Beck married for a second time and resides today in Connecticut as an author, political commentator, radio and TV talk show host, and entrepreneur. In July, 2010, Beck announced that he went to the doctors for an eye check up and later found out that he has Muscular Dystrophy.

I personally see Beck as an incredible person drawn to God because of his miracles that he, God, works. In August of 2010, Beck held a ‘Restoring Honor Rally’ in front of the Washington Monument, Reflecting Pool, and Lincoln Memorial. His co-host was the highly credited and former Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin. The two hosted an incredibly successful rally that drew the attention of a lot of names and hundreds of thousands of people.

I appreciate your time, God Bless and have a wonderful day! Also, Beck is on FOX News Channel on weekdays at 5p & 2a ET. Be sure to tune in, you will never walk away from one of his programs uninformed.

Green Paper

It wasn't but a few hours ago when I realized I was broke...yes broke. Luckily, I have many years to come before that becomes a real issue but for now, it's an issue that I DON'T want! What is the meaning of money? Where did it come from? How did it become such a large part of our society?

Money spands back thousands of years ago...most likely with the originial "barter & gift". If you have something of equal value, you can acquire something different of that SAME value...same being the key word here. Not long after, the Sumerians are credited with initiating the first economy based on commodity money. From then, we have been piling ourselves up in allegorical debt.

I thought about it for a second...what if money was never invented, and labor was for self-gratification and sincerity. And what if everything based on that labor, in terms of results, was not free (remember, there is no such thing as money) but good-will. The world could be such a better place. Where everything is done, given, and recieved as a sign of care and optimism. Just another flaw in today's society.

Today's was more of a personal conclusion but let me hear what you think. Do you agree with the monetary system? Why or why not? (As if we can change it...)

1st Issue: TSA Airport Protocol

A big issue that seems to be making a name for itself right now is the TSA Airport Security Searches...this being the pat-downs and "graphic" full body scanners. Airport security is a very, very sensitive issue to mess with and ESPECIALLY during the holidays. I believe it was three days ago when the Somali-born teenager attempted to detonate a bomb given to him by feds. Thankfully, the explosive material given to him was futile but the fact that this kid tried to detonate it in the center of a crowded area with women and children just sends chills down my spine. Having said that, I think that a lot of the complaints and issues that travelers have with the new protocols are fairly excessive in the fact that it is for your safety. I would be upset, don't get me wrong, with the new pat-downs and scanners HOWEVER, I know that it is for my own good and the good of my family and friends. All I am saying is that don't speak so harshly on an issue that can save the lives of tens, hundred, and possibly thousands of people. We are a country of successes and failures and it seems that the most effective way of learning is to experience...if you don't agree with me that 9/11 and the many terror plots involving US airways aren't enough "experiences"....then I do NOT want to know what is. God Bless and have a wonderful day!

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog! I was very against blogging not too long ago because of the "wonderful" conversations and arguments that you "accomlpish" when doing so...HOWEVER, it's far too important to stay quiet now. Thank you to the few who feel the same about our country and feel that unless we do something, by trying new things (failures and or successes), we will get no where. I appreciate your time and I hope to stay up to date and "loud" with my brand new, beautiful, 2010, blog!
